Tailored Builders was founded by Oleg Zakusilo to bring together the personal attention and craftsmanship of a custom home builder with the professionalism, organization, and standards of a high-end commercial contractor.
Oleg Zakusilo
My journey in construction began long before I started Tailored Builders. For more than 20 years, I have had the opportunity to work in the construction industry, gaining experience across two very different but equally valuable areas: custom residential construction and high-end commercial projects.
For 10 years, I focused on custom homes, learning that building a home is about much more than putting together walls and finishes. A custom home requires attention to detail, careful planning, quality craftsmanship, and a strong understanding of what each client wants to achieve. Those years taught me how important communication, organization, and personal attention are throughout the entire building process.
I then spent another 10 years working on high-end commercial projects. Commercial construction brought a different level of complexity and responsibility. I gained extensive experience working with demanding schedules, detailed plans and specifications, multiple trades, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and strict quality standards.
After 20 years in the industry, I reached a point where I wanted to take everything I had learned and build something of my own. That is how Tailored Builders was created.
